Chef Gary Williams was influenced by his mother who they called "Mama
Gamble" Chef was only 12 years old when he cooked his first meal, Smothered
pork chops with sweet peas and steamed rice.
When Chef Gary saw the looks on people's faces as a result of eating his
mother's food and how food brings folks together he decided that's what he
want to do because he love people.
Chef Gary's style is Soul Food with a Creole twist. Alligator Stew is a meal
Chef put together when he moved to Memphis, he'd been cooking over 32
years and never seen a recipe. Reflected on his time in Miami, Las Vagas,
New Orleans, California and blended seasons-- a little henna curry with French
bell peppers, onions, dry and fresh seasons-- and the rest is history.
